He wouldn't get within 100 feet of this thing. I would perhaps give him some binoculars, and a walkie talkee and he could 'request' that I open the door of the car, so he could see it. No ZAGATO for u!

Not impress at all. I have always like old cars better. Good Luke Aston Martin .l alway wanted a Aston Martin, now I don't know. You have the other hi end cars that are much better . • I would argue that Aston Martin has more experience in station wagons than Ferrari! This is not the first one, there were some other wagons in 70s and 80s, and they looked amazing, just like a regular boxy wagon but with long hood and two doors! They were very low production as well and finding one for review will be not easy but I would like to see it!

  • So essentially, the most basic definition of a Shooting Brake body, is a full size Station-Wagon/Estate.....COUPE. Not a full size three box design with truncated Hatchback rear.... like the Ferrari FF....or Hyundai Velostar for that matter..... and not an EWB rear box of Estate design..... essentially a Hearse... and not a 'Highline" roof, or rear storage like say, the classic Holden Sandman.... which is a Panel-Van.... but just a Station-Wagon....with only two doors. Looking at this car, at first, I was not sure it WAS a Shooting-Brake... but once I saw how long the rear actually IS, and that it is NOT full size sedan/hatchback hybrid like an FF say, I have to say that it is actually genuinely a Shooting-Brake body style, which is pretty cool, it has to be the first production Shooting-Brake in well over 50 years... and if I am not mistaken, the Aston-Martin DB5, was the last one? I think? They've never really been production cars, that's for sure. I mean, definitely, you will find a lot of cars pre 1945 that are Shooting-Brake designs.... but that was because that was the era of the Coachbuilder, and custom coach built bodies. People would have their cars ordered with a body in that style by X Coachbuilder, or buy the car sans any body, and have it added after market from Y Coachbuilder...and the type of people who bought them, were people with a ton of money, established on-going income streams, simply from land, entitlements because of nobility, rights to percentages of other's income, who did not need work, and still had massive amounts of money to burn, so bought a car JUST for hunting... or occasionally as general car of other sporting endeavous. In that sense, this is quite a piece of history, in so much as they are so rare post war. In fact, this might possibly be the only Shooting Brake made in the 21st century, possibly because whilst not quite the same demographic, Aston-Martin's target market is possibly the closest of all marques to those original buyers of this style of car.

Lol
