  • Thank you Toyota for putting a 2.5L 4-cylinder Camry engine in a family van I hope the van doesn’t blow up going uphill or long distance or having 8 full-size people in the van but Toyota do make good engines For besides the engine everything is cheap on there Vehicles Trust me on that I used to be a 2013 Toyota Corolla owner but not nomore

  • I was going to buy a 2021 2.5L Toyota sienna but I didn’t because I have a big family so I got the 2021 Chrysler Pacifica Red S Limited around 50K it’s a 3.6L v-6 Hybrid with EV battery 82mpg it’s really good on gas and I still have the V-6 power of 260hp I am really happy with it...

  • I am single with no intention of getting married and having kids any time soon. And yet... a minivan sounds like so much fun. You could hall any and all outdoor gear in that thing easier than just about anything. Also you could literally live in this thing. It’s the ultimate road trip warrior.

  • The minivans in Europe are a joke comparing with this one, never you gonna find electrical ajust for steering wheel, lots of usb ports. Sun shade ,hmm maybe.

  • my favirote luxury cars are lexus mercedes porshe volvo but the new TOYOTA sienna turn luxury is now toyotas only luxury makes me like now

  • When I thought my mom's 2010 Sienna's two-way operated (use either the handle or a button to control) power doors were crazy, and the acceleration was fast to me as a 6 year old.

  • One more feature I would like to see in the future is increased ceiling height to give more headroom. More room for easier ingress or move about

    Cottage GymCottage GymNapja
  • Toyota is like the dollar tree version of Lexus

  • I think feature rich is more appropriate than ultra-luxury. You kinda need to reserve those terms for Rolls, Bentley, S-Class etc.

  • Pacifica’s suck. Junk. The quality isn’t even close to the Sienna

    Doug NDoug NNapja
    • Yes the pacifics Quality is not close to the Toyota sienna recycle material cheap made bad quality but good engine 2.5L 4-cylinder Camry engine lol let’s put 8People in there Watched that four banger blow up... Specially in uphill or Long distance lol that new 2021 Toyota van suck now

Not, front grill just not attractive, rather no aero dynamic, and expensive price tag. This is another failure sale in America.

  • I cannot see this lasting longer than the stout V6. I know the hybrid systems have been great though.

    Justin KesslJustin Kessl6 napja
    • @ikelee - actually, Toyota has been developing the system since the middle of the 1960's with their first Hybrid car on display in 1977, which was about 43 years ago. However, your point is well taken - Toyota has made so many improvements in the technology that Hybrid battery life is not much of a factor in today's auto market.

  • It's bad enough crossovers aka the bunch of SUVs that can't are basically lifted ugliness that has reduced the availability of the superior wagon. Now the minivan makes old minivans look good, because this minivan looks like it is trying to be another crossover, but an already ugly thing got hit with the uglier stick. Where's a modern minivan proud to be a minivan?

    Bip BopBip Bop7 napja
    • The traditional minivan is slowly disappearing as consumers are flocking to CUVs and SUVs. To win over some of those customers Toyota and Kia designed their minivans with SUV styling cues. I hope both vehicles will be successful

  • Toyota is king. Stop trying to say or belittle their products by swearing that they are taking away from others. R&D involves real world use. Just because a company puts something out first to the public, doesn’t mean the stole it, they have to review it for their liking and reliability. This review is silly, the Honda had seat belts and now Toyota has seatbelts. They’re obviously copying or refining 🤨😒. Sadly that’s not how that works. If Honda’s fridge catches fire like say a Samsung because they chose a bad company, that’s on them. Toyota is less likely to pick an unreliable company so it’s up to them to ensure they have a trusted product in there high volume, high reputation products. So being first isn’t a measurement.

edward thomas jredward thomas jr7 napja
    • Then you slam them for taking ideas, then call them a trailblazer in how they went about fuel savings. So you disproved your review by calling them copy cats.

  • I'm a huge fan of this channel but I have to say his Doug scoring definitely has some inconsistencies. For example I just came from the 2021 F-150 video and it only got an 8 in practicality while this minivan got a 10. I know it seats more people and it has more inside cargo space but a pickup has a giant bed and it can tow literally tons of weight, which I would consider to be very practical

    • @ISMAIL AHMED According to Motor Trend the 2021 Sienna’s 0-60 time is 7.9 seconds vs the 2018 Sienna’s 7.1. So less than a second slower but significantly better fuel economy especially if you can get 44mpg like Edmunds did!

    Tobias RieperTobias Rieper9 napja
  • Its just 240 HP. Guys, why the hell do you need so much power? My german Toyota Minivan has a 4 cyl, no hybrid, with 177 hp. It drives 240 kph. And i am allowed to drive that speed on the Autobahn. But usual i drive it at 130 kph, so the consumption goes to 5,8 Liters per 100 km / 40.5 mpg. (NO HYBRID) My Toyota with its "small" engine is able to go in 0-60 miles in 8.4 seconds. Yeah i know, Toyota came up with that, but its more than enough Power for daily driving. You can't tell me, that you are dragracing with vans. Drag Racing is boring as hell. Everyone can do it. There is no challenge. So why do you need so much Power?
